How does this work? That depends on the sale price of the homes you鈥檙e buying and selling.
For example, if you sold your home for $1.5 million, you would save a minimum $31,600, because you are paying a flat fee of $5,900, as opposed to the traditional 2.5 to 5 per cent commission. If the buyer of your home doesn鈥檛 have an agent, the savings would jump to $69,100, as New Era Real Estate would waive the buyer agent鈥檚 commission.
On the flip side, if you were to buy a $2-million-dollar home a week after you sell, you would receive 50 per cent of the commission your agent receives, which would be $25,000 to $50,000.

That鈥檚 thanks to New Era Real Estate鈥檚 program. If you purchase a new home within a week, you鈥檒l get 50 per cent of their commission. If you buy your new house within two weeks, you鈥檒l receive 35 per cent. Purchasing your new home within three weeks of enlisting the help of a New Era Real Estate agent will earn you 25 per cent of their commission and, any purchase made after three weeks will automatically result in a $2,000 rebate.
